A tier, once earned, is protected for 12 months from the day you reached it. At the end of that period we review your trailing-12-month purchases: if you're still over the threshold, the tier renews for another year; if not, it adjusts to the tier you qualify for. Upgrades take effect the day you cross the line — no waiting for a review date.
